Stormeister!! wow .. so how many miles did you rack on my old beast? Rietzl give you a good deal in trade? I'm planning on adding another car when I move from Back Bay to the burbs later this year? I had my CTTS in this week and took the snows off and the 21" are back on ..

LOL, I got better than pics of Stormmeister's new car today - he
graciously let me take it for a spin...

I hadn't driven a PDK turbo before (I have an 09TT manual), but
when I trade my 09TT I'll seriously consider a PDK & I never would have
considered purchasing an auto Porsche before...

I didn't think I would say this, but sport+ is actually too much for
just tooling around town...

Loved your car, put about 6k miles on it in just under 12 months. Too many of these on highways, none on the track. Rietzl has it on their preowned inventory now. Sorry to see it go, but.... the 2010 is something else. I hope the coupe makes its 3rd owner happy too.
How do you like the CTTS? Rietzl loaned me a C (!), el-strippo model from Saturday (when I dropped the coupe off) until Tuesday when I got the cab. At first I did not like it but it grew on me. More HP and more gadgets and I would have been golden.... it's no 911 TT though for sure. I doubt I can get Mrs Stormeister to trade the Honda Odyssey any time soon.

Zotbot got WOT first.... I picked it up in the rain on Tuesday and drove it into the office in damp morning commute.... Zotbot showed it who was boss in the midday sun.

Zotbot and I were grinning with sport+.... So if you are in D (not manual) and override the gear with the paddles the pdk goes to whatever gear you select, then after 8 seconds (assuming you don't keep playing with the paddles) the pdk will select the gear it wants... So we're on the highway in sport+, you tap the paddles to put you into 6/7 gear... after 8 seconds... BANG!, you are back in 3rd.... and the car is ready for business... even if you are not ...

Regular sport mode is more useful around town etc when driving up the highstreet at 5000+rpms is, strangely enough, frowned upon.

Kickdown is impressive too, assuming you are in auto and just stomp on the gas, it will drop 3-4 gears in an instant and hurtle you at the horizon as only a TT can!

As much as I loved the 07 TT 6speed coupe, this car is so much more.

Cheers! You too. How did you like the R8?... I thought about it, love the look. Audi interiors are the best around.

I do love a car that is ready for business...like a good woman.

It sounds like sport+ is best used in manual mode...which is where I would be if I was playing with the paddles...on the track!
