I have the same AEM kit with you, i'm running straight methanol (not mixed with water).
Its better to use 50/50 pump/racefuel, running straight racefuel will make the car a bit slow off the line (my oppinion)
I run Sunoko GT Plus 109oct, the car needs some tike to learn the racefuel, to make learning faster pull the battery for 5-10min and then do some runs for the car to learn the new fuel.
Its better to disconnect the black battery wire (-)
Then again when you want to move to pump fuel program fill the tank with pump fuel, pull the battery 5-10min and then go do some runs.
If you don't do that the car will run a racefuel map on pump fuel, this will make knock sensor to pull timing and the car will have less power than normally has
You only be able to take advantage of the fuel, if you're tuned for that. If you have a specific tune for C16, or for 109 or for any other race fuel, you'll make more power, but on a regular tune, not at all.
I really don't see a point on running C16 with meth.

Its good to run methanol on both pump and racefuel, in my case i had the timing up nearly +5degrees which is a good improvement
You need a tune for race fuel and a boost controller. The primary advantage of race gas is that it allows you to run much higher boost w/ out detonation and thus make much more power.
For example, on pump 93 I am limited to 1.1 bars of boost. I make around 580 whp. On C 16 I can run 1.6 bars and make 750 whp.

ysfg35, I would recommend contacting Softronic to see what their procedure is when switching to race fuel. Many tuners have different procedures. With GIAC software you have to use the handheld switcher to change programs. With the EVOMSit software, it switches automatically. I'm not sure what the procedure is with Softronic. I would contact them or maybe Dan @ VividRacing. They should be able to help you out.
I can tell you this....you should DEFINITELY be able to notice a difference when using 103 octane fuel. We occasionally use 103 in a few of the EVOMSit tuned 997 turbos we have here at the shop, and the difference is VERY noticeable.
Oh, and DO NOT use leaded C16 if you have cats in the car. You can damage them. If you have no cats, go for it!
