WTF is it with people nowadays. It's only a few gouges, but I didn’t ask her to gouge up my bumper or break my license plate lights. I didn’t ask to have my rear bumper resprayed or the time off from work it's going to take shuttling it around. She called ME petty for calling the LEO.

I am also embarrassed, I was on a conf call with 3 people (customers) and talking hands free on a wireless headset when I had to sprint out after watching her do this.

I'm going to need tequila to calm this one down, boy, whew.

 

nice , skrew that skank she can call you petty or whatever she wants .... that fact that she looked around and then tried to run would upset me more then her gouging my bumper..

 

good you saw it and was able to catch her, otherwise $$$ from you to repair. Hate to say it but it seems to be the way with a lot of people for some reason, they rather not deal with.

Never safe. Glad you caught them. I had a similar exp. 30 years ago guy hit me in side pushed fender into wheel on a brand new Z28. When I asked if he had insurance. He said man I helped you get fender pulled away from tire you want me to pay. Then he proceeded to tell me he just got out of jail. Needless to say I had to pay ded. He had no insurance and he really had just got out of jail.

90% of the drivers out there think of a car as just transportaion, nothing more. They couldn't care less if they damage other people's well-cared-for cars. I'm sure this woman's car has evidence of other prior skirmishes. Glad you were lucky enough to catch her.

This is why I do not park my car in parking lots. I drive her and then back into the garage. If I do park her it is in a nice area where my car does not standout and is far, far away.

 

You are absolutely in the right . She hit your car and thinks you're the bad guy for asking her to stop ?What a sense of entitlement . I hope you called the cops . If there were witnesses she would have gotten a citation. If there's no police report you may have trouble collecting from her insurance .
