He's back . . . . .

I have been Porsche-less for three years. Tomorrow that will change. Details to follow.

In preparation for delivery of my new carriage, I have a few questions that have likely been discussed ad nauseum on this forum, but given my extended absence, I am ill-informed:

1. I recall that the OEM diverter valves in the 996TTs were substandard and required upgrade. Is the same true for the DVs in the 2011 TTS?

2. I recall that most replaced the air filter in the 996TTs. Is the same true for the 2011 TTS?

3. Is there any way to do an aftermarket ashtray delete on a 2011 TTS?

4. Can anyone recommend a good window tinter in the Los Angeles area?

5. What color wheels look best with the OEM dark blue metallic paint? As a point of reference (not my car): http://images2.auction123.com/fd74de...S754754/02.jpg . I was contemplating either grey or black, but I am not certain either would work well against dark blue. Your thoughts? Photos would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Craig

best of all a relatively painless BLITZKREIG package will taske the car to 800hp on the pump

Craig welcome back.
I am also on a Hiatus.
I drove Todd Z's 997TT.2 with PDK and mods and fell in love,
now time to scrimp and save.
Enjoy and share pics when you can
