Bought the mobridge ipod integration unit for use with my iphone (I did not get the bluetooth capable version as all I wanted was the music playing capability).

Cost $449 from amazon, installed by myself this weekend. Easy to do and works perfectly.

i went with the mobridge as well on my 997.1. it taps into the area where your cd changer would. it shows your songs/albums/playlists...everything thats on your ipod. i'm super happy with it.

The only issue I am having with it so far is that it does not remember where it was after I unplug and re-plug in the iphone. Defaults to the first track every time. Does yours do the same?

It does, but I dont mind it. The same happens in my X5 that has a factory ipod connection. I find it a little slow when trying to scroll to the next page of tracks, but other than that I love it. I just wish I had controls on the steering wheel for it.

Car-Nar - email me regarding the Dension. Been around a very long time, full featured and full display on PCM and control from PCM for iPod.

Retains CD Changer if you have it, easy to update firmware. W/PCM on your vehicle you can also add Bluetooth.

Questions? eric@bumperplugs.com

Consider the rep system a member's way of expressing their view about you. I suspect that some member is disgruntled with type of threads you have started - many of the questions you have asked are easily found in a brief search of this website. And while it may be easier to ask, there are likely several very good threads about the topics you are inquiring.

That being said, a negative rep points are often left anonymously, and in far greater frequency than positive rep points.

That can always be fixed...

Not pity points. Pity points would have been positive points, but negative comment.

Think of it as "moderator's prerogative"... I've only been here since 2007...and you should have seen my first dozen posts, lol. The board is open for everyone - from those looking for answers to those looking to help out. We all start somewhere.
