Just thinking.. -perhaps looking up the part number for the item will tell you if it's the same SKU... at least something to try first.

Hello,

We already did this conversion and its working fine.

However you will not be able to use the "Dynamic cornering lights" function of the new headlights.

Regards,
Emre

i was going to create a new thread on this topic but came across this one.

i know this thread is a couple of months old but just like JoelPirela asked, has anyone figured out if this conversion is plug and play or is there some modding needed? what parts are needed? etc.

The 997.1 lights look way outdated compared to the 997.2 lights but a quick check on Suncoast website shows parts at about $3k for both sides from what i can tell,it would look good though.

Hi Emre what did you exactly do to make the lights work or was it just plug and play?

Hi, I've fit a 997.2 headlight onto a 997.1 turbo but it had a warning light pops up say "headlight beam adjustment faulty" anyone had any idea on how to fix it? Thanks.

Some programming might need to be done, like I reprogrammed my front side markers to be turn signals.

No it's not plus and play. Inside the light the old motor wire is different than the new one. The only way i can do now is move the old light's motor to the new lights and rewire it then the warning light is gone but the light will not have self leveling becasue the motor is actually not working. If you don't mine the warning light then you can install it without any problem.
