Best looking rim for 08 997 TT BLK / BLK

Hey guys, I want to get your opinion regarding best rim for a blk / blk 08 turbo.

Thinking about black rim but not sure if I really want that "murdered out" look. What about titanium vs black?

I think deep dish looks sick on these cars, any recs? Is monoblock better?

If anyone has a set of used rims, I would be interested. Any preferred vendors out there that the community finds helpful and good customer service?

Please post pics if you have any :D:D:D

Hello,

Based upon what your budget may be, the Avant Garde Ruger Mesh is always a wheels that seems to look amazing on your vehicle.

If you're looking for some 1pc Monoblock wheels, HRE, Modulare Forged, Vorsteiner, or AG Forged are the wheels we would probably recommend.

What size are you looking for?

Thank you

Wheel Opinion

I have the same year and model in GT Metallic silver with Guards Red interior. I have decided on a set of PUR LX12 wheels, 8.5 F, 12 R, 20 dia, with a gloss Diamond black finish. The spoke faces are brushed bright to contrast, and I have decided on hidden bolts as it's a 3 pc and I personally prefer a more uncluttered look! I'm going with Michelin Pilot Sport 245 F, 325 R, as this is as wide as recommended. It's a pretty unusual design, but I wanted a unique look without going nuts on the finish color. The items have been ordered, not in for a few more weeks, but if you're not in a hurry I would be glad to send pics when installed! I wish you luck making your decision, it took me a long time to decide too, I hope that it looks good! Eric 574-367-0033

This right here. Deep dish in the rear and rivets (multi-piece). Suits the car perfectly.

I highly dislike black wheels most times. The pictures you see are under ideal lighting. more often you end up with just a dark hole and you can't see any detail and it looks not great as the wheel is hidden in shadow. Nice wheels shouldn't be hidden in shadow. Plastidipped stockers? sure. murder away.

I much prefer something bright enough to see. See how the wheel is visibile even under overcast lighting?

will look good in anthracite/gunmetals/darker silvers

I'm fully aware that real life has more dynamic range then photography but i think the effect holds. Really nice wheels just don't look really nice in anything but direct bright light when black, especially when not glossy. Glossy black on glossy black is also kind of boring looking imho. Not a fan of painted bright silver, as many times it's kind of a dated look right now.
