PASM, PTM, ABS, PSM FAILURE LIGHTS and CHECK ENGINE LIGHT P0503 Code

Hi,

After lower my car with lowering springs, I'm getting 6 different error codes.
Here are the lists what I did/replaced

1. Replaced with aftermarket wheels with no TPMS sensors
2. Removed Brake sensors, calipers, necessary parts to remove struts (like axle shaft, etc) and put them all back.
3. Reset battery (remove battery negative terminal for few sec and re-connected). This was performed after getting all these errors
4. Tried connecting PSM shock absorver sensors both way (please see below thread)
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-question.html
5. Replaced 997.2 LED tail ligths with FVD module (I'm pretty sure it won't give this error code)
6. Currently rear bumper is removed (waiting for my 997.2 bumper to be arrived and also this won't be any issue)

Any idea why I'm getting these errors?
I heard it may needs recalibrate the steering angle sensor, is it true??
And can anyone verify if I connect PSM cable correctly? please see the link above.

Thanks in advance.

Drive it a few miles, many of those codes are assoc with the battery being disconnected. Yes, the steering angle may need to be adjusted.

I wish I can drive my car to see if these errors go away. My new 997.2 bumper is not yet ready and I already removed my 997.1 bumper and wrapped and stored in my basement.
The steering angle sensor can be recalibrate manually?
Or I must have Duramatic or some sort of equipment to reset/recalibrate?

Thanks in advance :D

Just you know, I did reset the battery after I saw these error codes.

as TT Surg said, the error codes should go away after driving a couple of minutes

Once I get to drive my car next week.
I'll update this thread.

Thank you everyone!!!

To re-calibrate the steering wheel sensor you need to go lock to lock to lock.

Funny thing is I just finished installing new springs for my friend last night. Same year same model (even same color lol)
I did completely same but this time his car didn't show any alert. No error code whatsoever. I'm still waiting for my rear bumper to be done so I can drive my car to see if these errors go away.
Or may be I'll just drive few miles without a bumper late at night. I just don't want to get pull over by cops.

was this ever resolved?

turboslut 08-29-2018 09:13 AM

sounds like you failed to reconnect (or damaged) the wheel speed sensor.

I just saw your video.... You'll hae a HIGH likely chance of finding a brittle tear on the edge of the valve... most likely your AOS
