1. look at the pictures I posted earlier. the close ups of the ends of the lip. oem is seamless all the way around. these replica aero lips have end caps that are glued on. the seams where these two pieces meet are pretty rough around the edges. it's kind of minor in the big picture but if you're picky you will notice.

2. i would have to measure on the weekend. but id say about an inch.

The pics look great!! Really considering ordering one. Can you elaborate on the above two comments?

1) what do you mean by the "seams in being smooth"

2) can you measure the height of the lip vs oem to confirm how much thicker it is? Is it really 1" ?

Thanks
Art

Both spoilers are the same height. They differ in the distance the bottom of the spoiler is from the car due to the angle of the new piece.

Tom what do you mean exactly?

Sorry to be picky perhaps the lip was not properly mounted? For some reason the other two image you have look to fit better
Images below for comparison with my lip.

Noticed that as well. Not sure about the fitment of the spoiler, but I think you really need to bang the spoiler into place on the bumper to secure it all the way. I had an OEM spoiler that looked about the same.

Ahhh I see what you mean, thanks to your diagram.

Yes that sounds about right Rye, I probably need to bang the lip in more but I haven't fully committed to what I'm going to do. Pastidip or not, try to fix the seams or not...

Got my lip the other day. It was crammed in a box that forced it out of shape and creased corners. Pretty disappointed. Since no one else mention receiving theirs like this... Those who got it did it come out of the box like this??? I emailed seller and he says to heat it or leave it in the sun. While I understand what he is saying... I think this is a little ridiculous. What do you guys think?

wow, lol sorry. That doesn't look too good. My lip was rolled up a bit in the box, but it just unfolded nicely into shape from the get go. Maybe they used a smaller box on yours and crammed it in there, or it settled weird in the box? I think the company that makes these is only an hour away from me, in Ca. So maybe it didn't sit in the box as long as yours. Either way if the bends dont come out I hope you get a refund.

Well I'm not too worried about the money, between PayPal, and AMEX... I know I won't be screwed... I just don't want to make a big deal if this is norm and everyone else had the same experience and work it out. I just don't see a hair dryer handling this issue as seller recommends bit could be wrong I guess.

If nothing else, potential buyers can be informed and beware.

I don't think this is right package. the seller should replace with a proper one to you.

Mine looked similar upon arrival. After installation where it was stretched on there it was fine.

Mine arrived in a large box, 5'8" x 2'2", in good undamaged condition. The lip was also wrapped in plastic.

One of the openings in the front was a little mis-shapen on mine but a little heat sorted it out

thank you I see what you are saying. that would annoy me, I'd have to sand it down before getting it primed and painted but still much cheaper than the oem aero kit

I wouldn't mix & match either go all painted or all unpainted ,painted lower pieces just makes the car look much lower to the ground,it's an optical illusion but a good one.
