Full tank vs. half tank handling

Full tank vs. half tank handling
Usually drive with half of the tank filled.
Whenever I fill up fully, the front end feels much different. Steering Wheel response gets better. It feels as if the nose has more grip even at very low speeds.
Did you notice the same difference?

Gasoline weighs a lot. With less fuel, I notice a big improvement in pickup. driveability and even high speed braking......I never keep more than a half tank. Just too much wasted weight depending on type of driving one does. I'm in Florida, maybe in the snow/ice, added weight might be a plus, just don't want to remember.
Important question on your note of pending AWD M3....did you take the less HP, AWD non-M car and put in the M3- twin turbo engine??
The fellow that runs the BMW M-division (Albert Bierman) says no M3 will get AW even for 2014....says "the challenge of getting in sync with your car when it is powerful musyt have rear drive, then you play with it...that's a story. The fun goes away with AWD." Strange but yet Albert embraces SMG, which really aborts much of the fun. However, M4, unlike Porsche turbo/GT3, still can have the manual box for 2014 with turbo 6 cyl 425 HP but only RR drive as sadly promised by Bierman.
