apr's instructions are retarded (or maybe i am).
Fault Code Erase/Throttle-Body Alignment
The EMCS fault code erase feature can be used to erase all
fault codes present on the engine computer. This feature is
activated using the cruise control RESET button.
i tried this and i didnt hear anything. apr doesnt say if the car has to be on , or just key in the ignition etc. i called them and they don't know LOL

I think I read some other method of key on/off sequence that was supposed to reset tb's in a post on here. I cant speak for how or if it works as I have never done it

the "tech" i spoke with sounded like he hated his life. he sounded like the teacher from ferris bueller.
he told me to download the instructions from their website, which i did. no luck..

FYI, on my '09 997tt with APR, the fuel reserve light blinks instead of the CEL whenever I make changes. Also, the ignition needs to be turned on but the engine off. If you have a security code programmed in, you need to enter it first. Last resort, you can look up local dealers on the APR website and they can hook it up and update the tune for usually under 100. Lol, it will probably be a VW shop but don't let that scare ya.
