If this combo has been done on the 997, I've never seen it. Gray on bronze wheels

Since I can never leave well enough alone, I decided to try something out with plastidip. I sprayed the bronze metalizer over my black wheels. I'm actually really happy with the result and am planning on having them powdercoated for a more permanent solution.
It's unique for sure but without being loud. I think it really complements the interior color as well. People are welcome to post their opinions (they always do), though I don't really care one way or the other. I like it. ;) |

And a shot of the right side for reference (since this was a test, I didn't do all four).

Not bad. Props to you for trying something different. Like you essentially said eff the naysayers - it's about what you like.
|
I thinks it works well ;)
|
I really like it good job!!!!
|
I like it...however do you think it's a novelty that may wear out over time (i.e., if you make it more permanent)?
|
I think it's awesome and works perfectly w that gorgeous interior!
Make it permanent. |
looking good, my bronze wheels are coming in as well :)
|
That is super creative, and I think it works really well! Kudos for experimenting.

Looks great with your interior and the pccbs. Love the front end too.

in my opinion it looks good. not great but good. what would make it look great? Less gloss. not matte, but maybe a satin finish to work better with the gray.
edit: actually it looks to have a satin type finish. the last pic throws it off a bit. it looks really nice in the other pics.... it doesnt draw my eyes immediately to the wheels (thats a good thing). |
I like it ;) Great looking car Brent. Was this shot by lake Travis? Looks familiar.
|
I like it a LOH!
|
I think it works b/c of your matching interior.
|
It looks good in my opinion.
