Help me identify my car's issue

HI guys , my car been acting weird for week it has a rough idle and sometimes i get this massage (very low oil pressure) if not moved for couple of days plus on cold start the oil pump gauge has some delays plus it wont reach 5 (it used to) in addition when i push the gas i get alot of delay and the turbo spools but no power (a loud vacuum sound as well but no respond on the power) , no CEL lights and the new MAFs are just installed , plus the engine shakes hard

The car has COBB stage 2 and was running great when this happened suddenly , i ran the diagnose on COBB's access port device and it gave me these codes (1133 , 2189) any idea where to look at ?

Btw i inspected the hoses they seems to be in place .

Any suggestion (i hope its as simple as spark plugs or cracked hose)

Hmm it really sounds like you have some sort of a leak. The two codes are for lambda adaption out of range.

Confident that there are no boost leaks? I know you said you looked but a boost leak test may be in order.

Please let me know what we can do to help.

I would start by checking the pipe right off the throttle body as this comes off sometimes and can be a bit deceiving.

Thanks mitch you are always helpful , i inspected them but when the car is sttlled on ground ill do it again tomorrow i really hope it is the hose only cause our dealer here is a damn blood sucker

Any idea from your experience on the awkward low oil pressure massage im getting sometimes?

COBB Tuning Sep 10, 2014 11:37 AM

No I would maybe try and see if you can get a better gauge on it to see if you do indeed have low oil pressure. Might be worth a visit to the dealer or a good indie shop to inspect it for piece of mind.

Let me know what you find and let me know if you need anything at all!

^ agreed.
i wouldnt take any chances whatsoever if i saw a low oil pressure light, bearing in mind a replacement Gemballa motor will cost the price of a 997tt...
my advice is don't even try to start the car. have it towed to wherever you get your work done.

Thanks guys , btw the low oil pressure massage comes only and suddenly if i left the car parked for some days and only on cold start and the funny thing is that it doesn't show any codes on the AP diagnose (do you think its electrical related like a bad alternator?)

So what does it go to when it is cold? Does it not come up? Or it just isn't at 5 bar?

It goes up but not to 5 bar

It takes about 2 second or less after the ignition tell it moves

Quick update :

I cleaned the fuel filter and omg a lot of black dirt came out of it (looks like ive been producing crude oil in my filter loool) plus while im into it i cleaned the throttle body which was dirty as hell and the mafs where cleaned too , so the results was unbelievable a huge huge huge improvement in throttle response and less spool time , yet seems that i have a mighty vacuem power that doesn't transfer very well into the drivetrain (alot of traction light and tire slippage where happening (my guess is i need to change the oil and take a long drive to clean the injectors) , plus it seems that the huge boost im getting needs a better stronger hoses (which is on the way nowadays) ,

I hope by next week ill install the new parts (evoms turbo hoses , ap intercooler hoses and forge DV , ngk platinum spark plugs and fabspeed intake ) , the decatted free flow exhaust seems more important now due to the better air intake capabilities ,

As for the oil pressure issue my assumption its the oil pressure sensor ( which ill verify hopefully this week)

Thanks to the guys whom helped me during the concerns ive got (especially the great mitch of COBB)

It happened again unfortunately , i washed the car and 10 minutes after that the car started to get rough idling and black smoke from the passenger side (the same happens randomly after a car wash) , i think its a water issue to the mafs due to the stupid gemballa spoiler design that dosent prevent water from getting into the engine bay ,

So i unplugged the battery and then started normally (though i get some random little black smoke coming again from the passenger side) so i drove the car with no rough idling tell it happened again randomly today ,

The question guys do you think the water that got into the engine bay caused these bad lean readings from the mafs or any related sensor

try a spirited drive to the limiter to see if it clears the carbon

Thanks squat , i did last Friday but it kept happening (the mafs are new though) and i didn't get codes on my access port , its defiantly a non burned gas due to some faulty readings in the sensors (unplugging the battery fixed it somehow but it got back which make my assumption realistic) , and the new coils are only with 5000 km , i wonder if anyone got the same thing after a car wash (changing the spoiler (hood) becomes a high priority for me now)

You might have checked this but bad gas?
