With all the crap on our streets for about 1/2 the year, i wouldn't even think of driving a decent car w/o clear bra. You might as well go sign up for a major sandblasting without it.

A lot of people refer to 3M which used to be the industry standard, but in reality 3M is great, but it has a lot of orange peel which is something to consider. Don't cheap out on install jobs either and find a quality installer, the last thing you want is cut marks all over your paint from an installer's knife from cutting the material. A quality installer will know what he or she is doing.

On my 997TT I have full custom cut Xpel Ultiimate on entire hood, bumper, fenders, all the lights, lip, roof, pillars, rear quarter panels, rockers, etc. I was going to wrap the entire car but I opted to just do a very extensive coverage, you cannot tell as the headlights, crest, were all removed prior to install.
who do you use in socal ?

freddiemac is infamous around these parts
My whole car is wrapped as well. My 997.1 turbo is silver, the wrap gave it a slightly darker tone, which I really like. It's been doing its job really well over the past 7 years.

wrapping only the front is like using a condom that only covers the tip of your junk... Just saying..

I barely want to spend 1200 for just the front. Forget about the whole car and spend 4k for that.

Well as expected I don't see a single thing lol. So how is the maintenance of the clear bra? What do you do with the swirls? Or does the self healing xpel get rid of swirls?

I remember when I saw a clear bra it had huge *** swirls in it. Like super bad ones.

What exhaust did you switch to by the way?

The extreme has a clear coat on it.All we did was use Collinite (sp) wax on it.For maintainance after I wash it I use Prima spray wax
No swirls ,nothing but gloss!
The upgraded muffler is Oakley Performance with 200 cel cats
