Fixed wing

So I installed my EBWERKS fixed wing and their wiring instructions on how to disable the switch and getting a warning light didn't match any wires. But I connected the blue and green wires coming from the passenger hydraulic and taped the rest off. I still got the "failure spoiler control"
Is there any shop OR someone who can recode my computer not to show the warning? Thanks my number is 3479206353.

Up where or who can code? How much?

FWIW you may want to post your location. Your area code appears to be NYC.

If you have a delaer or someone with a Durametric Pro you should be able to disable that wing. Most dealers charge a minimum 1 hour ~ $100-150 to hook up the PIWIS. Some may be nice and do it for less , or free?

I have disabled the entire mechanism with my Durametric Pro cable and tested it out and it was fine...Got to speed, and no wing deplyment, push dash button and no wing deploy...I was just checking. I got no warnings either...so I would think this would work for you...

Good luck...

Hi, Newbie here and trying to get rid of the warning after fixed wing install. Can you share where you got it coded in the Bronx? I am also in the Bronx.

Thanks!

Thanks Jaygotti! Did you have to set up an appointment or just show up? What's the cost...I am debating on coding or installing a harness. Seems like you can join the wires in a 996 to get rid of the warning but is there no way to do that in a 997? I search here and on rennlist but can't seem to find any instructions for 996.

U have to code it, the dealer will do it for you. Back then they charged me 85 dollars and I just showed up.

Another Bronx guy here, glad to see someone else local repping on the 6. Interested in doing any group drives of HPDE?
