Congrats - what size r888?

They appear to have a nice sidewall on the video.

A wheelie with R888's???? What is that track prepped with superglue or something?

Best I've ever done on a new set of R888's is 1.61.

I think I could do one with heated rear slicks. But not a chance with street tires.

I'm not a drag racer so I don't know anything about track prep but whatever these guys in the Middle East use it must be amazing.

Ekanooracing just ran a 9.6 @ 230kmh (143 mph) with the esmotor "650 package". 2.2 second 0-62mph and a 60' of 1.4xx seconds.... Claiming bolt-ons only. Sounds a little unbelievable, even on r888's unless they're calling upgraded turbos "bolt-ons". You can hear their pdk slipping a bit in the video, but no clue how they're getting those high of traps on the top-end without hitting fueling limits. Granted, they do have pro drivers at their disposal but I simply don't see the power there to be able to achieve those traps

Nitrous will allow more power without affecting fueling limit.

This launch seems impossible without heated slicks but who knows.

In reference to ekanoo's 9.6 second 991tt record... I guess we have our answer... Still curious how they're addressing fueling

The 991 may have a larger capacity HPFP than the 997.2 so it may allow for more top end on a stock fuel system.

GIAC just might have figured out a way to increase the fueling capacity on both 997.2 and 991's

Quote: I think Mitch/Cobb could make that work with the software actually.

I dunno about this being on the same track as that 991, but there is ANOTHER 991 that just ran 9.7@141 at a completely different track in the middle east
As mentioned previously by Longboarder these must be with aftermarket turbos...

Stock car boosted , the car owner wouldn't mind if anyone went to inspect it. Great numbers and Todd been in the industry for sometime .

The car here that did 10.1 at 135 is believable...it has been done before on stock turbos and stock fuel system.

The 9.6 at 143mph "bolt ons" is what people here are questioning given the known limitations of the stock turbos and stock fuel system. People just want to know what was done and we don't seem to get any transparency, particularly on the fuel system.
