swc, why are you swapping back to a dual mass flywheel? I'm considering a low mass flywheel as part of a clutch replacement but cautious about the car being harder to handle in traffic.

I was hesitating to keep a single mass or back to a dual mass because I love the feeling of a single mass flywheel. There are two reasons why I went back to a dual mass flywheel.

1. SMFW and lighter/underdrive crank pulley combo makes rpm going too fast especially on low gears. That causes more chance to hit the rev limiter. And with the upgraded turbos, it would be even worse.

2. This was not a main reason but there was a slight noise on idle and low rpm(~2k) with a SMFW.

However the performance and drivability like engagement point etc are perfect with GT2 clutch and SMFW combo. I'm selling mine now so if you are interested, let me know.

No, I'll be sitting this one out as my car went in a little vacation. Definitely in the fall though

 

HTZ is where it's at for sure. Xona wheels in a VTG turbo is awesome .

I couldn't run at the track because my car ran into some issue. Currently my car is in the shop. I will start the new thread about it shortly.
