Protomotive turbo s vs Championmotorsport 997turbo
I think a lot of it has to do with driving and or something is wrong, as the 997.1 took a beating!
Longboarder has ALOT more then just tune and exhaust like this 997.2 has.
A typical 997.2 with a good PUMP tune (as Proto is) and catless exhaust is what?.... a 7.2-.7.6 car and a full FBO (with a good tune) with 68's 997.1 is a 6.6-7.0 car.
That run looked like the cars were reversed.
Just thinking out loud..... either way on the streets the 997.2 dragged that 997.1!

Wow I know Todd K is good (as I have his package and tune on my 997.1), but those times is what PDK, FBO(stock turbos) 997.2 run with other reputable tuners ie. Longboarder with FBO on pump runs similar times.
Thanks.
FWIW we have 997.2 pdk customers running 5.4-5.5sec 100-200kph (6.4-6.5sec 60-130mph) times on pump gas with just an exhaust upgrade. I believe at least one of them has shown results on here.
997.2s don't really need much to extract the most power out of what's available given where fuel limits sit today. A great exhaust and you're pretty much off to the races. Rest of the stuff helps on the efficiency side of things (e.g. same power, less boost) but overall performance results such as 100-200/60-130 times won't differ by much at the end of the day for most people out there unless fueling is addressed appropriately.
