Protomotive turbo s vs Championmotorsport 997turbo
Yes, they are modified VTG's, but they are not our 68mm VTG's.
in a previous post Tom@champion was curious where that car was built,now after we got the VIN# he confessed it has all bolt ons from champion and it has modified VGTs but not from champion...really weird...anyway next week we will remove those turbos and check them and have some pics.

last week the owner of this champion turbo took it to the dyno,she puts 610whp with 50/50 pump/ms109.then he decided to let Todd.K @Protomotive to retune it.this is the graph after proto tune.sorry i dont have the first graph before proto tune.Proto tune adds 96whp with same fuel.

How old was the GIAC/Champion tune?
As I know everyone in the 911 world has gotten more aggressive with this platform as we now understand more about the strengths and weakness.
I am not taking ANYTHING away from Protomotive (as my car is a Proto car) as I believe Todd is/has been a pioneer and a leader of the 911 platform overall, BUT there is enough mis information on forums not giving true delta differences between upgrades/tunes.
Champion/GIAC is also long time tuner that Has my respect for developing turn key, all around performers. I had a full AWE/GIAC STG 3 package on my 02 S4 and it performed all day everyday as if Audi would have designed and made it. Could I have gotten a custom tune to squeeze out more? For sure, but for that vehicle I wanted everyday reliable performance fro a proven long in the profession tuner.
Either way if it is a net of 96hp above, that is amazing and would say good job to Todd!
Just wondering if they did a before and after dyno on the SAME dyno?

I am getting Todd to look at doing a recal on my car shortly as now have upgraded ETS intercooler! Hoping to squeeze some more out of her on pump and my E85 tune!
