World's Fastest 997.2
Yesterday my TT-S set the record for the fastest 997.2 with a 138.6mph trap speed. First time the car has been driven since being completed 8 hrs prior to the event was it's first shakedown pass 10.4@130 on only 12psi of boost off the trailer:D. Car will be getting officially tuned on the dyno in the next couple of weeks, get a few small tweaks at BBi, then shipped home to daddy. This spring I will be heading to Atco to become both the quickest and fastest ;)
Specs: 2011 turbo S Stock motor and PDK COBB AP custom tuned by Mitch McKee Xona Rotor alpha30 turbos with custom oil/water lines put together by BBi BBi barcode exhaust BBi inconel v-band headers AMS intercoolers Aquamist Meth injection kit with 2.5 gallon tank IPD plenum and y-pipe Hoosier DOT drag radials in rear/Toyo r888 up front 100 octane in tank Props: Special thanks to Mitch for his tremendous support throughout this whole project and his magic fingers on the keyboard. He is a great tuner and also a great friend BBi for building such a clean, custom setup that works and was based on my goals Tony@BBi for busting his ass to finish the car in time, driving it all the way to the event, then driving the snot out of it down the track AMS Performance for their badass intercoolers and support Jon@COBB and Sam@ByDesign for their help and support. Sam really pulled a rabbit out of his ass to get me into the event on such short notice |

Dude, congratulations Chris! When Tony pulled up at our meeting spot with your car I knew it was on. The BBI guys worked really hard and have the confidence to send the car down without even tuning it yet. It sounded awesome, looked awesome and ran awesome! Can't wait to see what you do with that thing!

Congrats man! If we could only get a real fueling solution, all these 9A1s would scream. I'm loving the hell out of my naturally aspirated 9A1 ;)

I'm pretty sure Efi's 997.2 did 139MPH. Either way...your car is definitely hauling ass!!! Congrats!

Thanks bro. I checked drag times, YouTube, and forums and the highest I saw he ran was 138.4. If I am wrong I will gladly change the title of the thread until I get the car tuned and back to the track.

Not bad for a shakedown eight hours after the last bolt is turned brother! I saw Mitch just scratch his ass and run a 9.9 LOL. and he told Tony to put it back on the trailer. He wanted to put a smile on your face before really tuning it. Tony didn't want to run your car anymore than he had to either.

Congrats brother!!!!! Stoked for you - the wait was worth it...but I'm sure this validation is nothing compared to he first time you strap in and blast off.
