I know for sure I can better them!

as the road was not the smoothest and Aquamist might need some fine tuning :)

thanks mate :)

I have the feeling we will do better :)

fuel is VP racing MS109

after we are all done with the best tune on 109... we will do a pump gas tune

ah okay cool so race fuel. I bet once dialed in, you can probably do low 5s 60 to 130 mph. And that will be amazing.

all on stock pdk clutch pack and fuel system.

3llooi 12-25-2016 08:00 PM

Thanks bro!

Yeah... I hope we hit low 5.xx seconds

I'm using MS109 fuel because we really have crappy fuel!
And this will be my race tune

Emre will do me another tune for pump gas

Awesome results so far.

This setup isn't just about the numbers though, it is a serious weapon on the rod with this kind of power delivery.

Will be hard to beat in most situations!

True and well said bro

But the thing is that numbers attract us since it's the tangible way of feeling results

Car started with 7.7s 60 to 130 mph. :)

With exhaust and cobb ots tune

Tonight I've tried the car at the drag strip in Bahrain just for fun

Made 10.230s for 1320ft at 220kph speed

Not bad

You my friend are miles ahead of me so I should be taking advice by you. My tuner has suggested main things are:-

- do not place the injectors in any hoses - might seem obvious but have seen it many times before - if you get a boost leak on a turbo to intercooler hose etc or intercooler to y-pipe you will be spraying methanol over your engine!

- put the injectors far enough back on the y-pipe so it has time to turn to a vapour

- set up the control based on injector duty cycle not boost - IDC is always okay but if you have small boost leak then by boost you are affected

- make sure you set the IDC low enough so that when you need the meth, it will be in the cylinders

- keep all the lines away from anything hot

- run with water first to make sure it is leak proof - then when sure run Methanol

- run with a large enough tank - 9e use 2.2 gallons

- use the sports chrono to mount the gauge

;)

After a chat with Richard at Aquamist.co.uk, it's really important also to mount the jets correctly and not through a thick walled charge pipe or bung... that would make the spray go to dripping and not the best !

I'll be getting extended tall jets to help.

Your car is really moving forward very fast.

Can you give more info about the correct/optimum way to mount the jets?

Can you also post some 100-200kph numbers for european folks? :p

I'll post a good diagram for mounting the jets. Aquamist will send it to me.
