Anyway... inlets are not that hard to install.

I did my friends car last week... 997.2TT and we lowered the engine a bit. Made it smooooooth and easy sail

Sounds good how long did it take you about 2hrs? What all did you remove before lowering the motor? Intake, y pipe, bumper, & exhaust?

Yes about 2 hours.

To lower the engine:
You remove the bumper not to make the exhaust touch or damage anything ... might be a precaution thing to be honest

And disconnect the intercoolers from turbo pipe


At engine bay side:
Removed airbox and Ypipe and disconnected Diverter Valves from the stock inlet pipes along with the breather valve

I did also cut the oem inlet pipes
You cannot take them out without cutting them off.

What was the easiest tool to cut them with?

Hacksaw blade, or Dremel tool with bit or cutting wheel will do it. Also, may sound silly, but a hot soldering iron will melt through it quickly also.

On my car I used an air saw

On my friend's car I used a hacksaw
It's easy to cut through


Just try to cut as high as possible
