D088 Silicone Boost Hose Install

Nice!
Anyway... inlets are not that hard to install.
I did my friends car last week... 997.2TT and we lowered the engine a bit. Made it smooooooth and easy sail

Sounds good how long did it take you about 2hrs? What all did you remove before lowering the motor? Intake, y pipe, bumper, & exhaust?

To lower the engine:
You remove the bumper not to make the exhaust touch or damage anything ... might be a precaution thing to be honest
And disconnect the intercoolers from turbo pipe
At engine bay side:
Removed airbox and Ypipe and disconnected Diverter Valves from the stock inlet pipes along with the breather valve

Hacksaw blade, or Dremel tool with bit or cutting wheel will do it. Also, may sound silly, but a hot soldering iron will melt through it quickly also.
Good luck,

On my car I used an air saw
On my friend's car I used a hacksaw
It's easy to cut through
Just try to cut as high as possible
