997 turbo vs. NA 991
Hello, I am looking for some advice from forum members,
I currently own a 2003 996 with 115,000 miles that I have owned for the last 5 years, I have done all the maintenance myself and am proud to say I have never had to take it to the dealer for a repair I couldn't do myself. Anyways, as I am approaching 50 I wanted to move up to another Porsche either a 997 turbo manual or a 991 manual, I don't think I could afford a 991 turbo. Where I live its hard to find these models and I'll likely have to throw a 500 mile long search to buy one making test drives to compare both models difficult. Could anyone with experience give me some advice? I plan on keeping this one for at least 10 years maybe longer.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the advice. By 997.2 do you mean the NA one? Ideally I’d like to test drive all but very hard around here to find any for sale and most are PDK.
I really enjoy driving a manual. Not looking for top speed. Most of my driving is on back roads and some on interstate. Very little heavy traffic stop and go stuff. Only put about 3000 miles a year on my 996.
