FBO Dyno

I haven’t posted on here in awhile and been sitting on this dyno since the beginning of the session.. car is really running strong and knock on wood besides normal fluid change the car has been running strong. If anyone has any questions about mods please ask.. I really like this set up as it really has no dead spots in the band and keeps pulling till redline..

That's impressive for those mods! You thinking vtg upgrade?

jazzwu 10-20-2017 01:39 AM

Nice! Haha AIM small world. I just got my car back from them and I'm pretty happy with my results too.

I'm the white 997.2 turbo s.

Brooklyn boosting 10-20-2017 03:39 AM

I remember seeing your car..What where your final numbers.. my stock turbos suck for power I’d never upgrade if I had your style turbos..I had a drive in a car with alpha 3076 and the car was a beast with not as much lag as I thought for a bigger type turbo

Final numbers were 654 whp on pump and meth.

Only mods I have are meth and catless exhaust. Stock everything else hardware wise.

Brooklyn boosting 10-20-2017 03:32 PM

Meth is the key. But has character that I don’t like for track use.. would you happen to know how many mm your turbos are and do you have a dyno..my pics don’t show by my tq hits at exactly 3k

My stock turbos are 62.5 mm give or take. As for pic of dyno sorry I don't have it. I was verbally told this by the shop. I do have a pic of my car just on the dyno with just catless exhaust and custom tune. That was 609 whp.

Brooklyn boosting 10-21-2017 11:49 AM

Those are great numbers give or take 50 hp more for 3.5 mm of turbos.. I need turbos.. decisions decisions...

unless your stock turbos were modified they are not 62.5 ;)

Compressor wheel specs
997.1 43mm inducer 56mm exducer
997.2 45mm inducer 56mm exducer
997 GT2 45mm inducer 56mm exducer ( same wheel as .2 but different cover)

when people talk about 63.5 or 65 or 68, that number references the exducer (bigger part) of the compressor wheel.

My trusted knowledgeable sources have told me that it's indeed 62.5 mm :-)

My third cousin in Australia told me that they are 64mm ..... but Borg Warner still says otherwise.
