Just finished the installation of the Europipe for my 997.2 turbo s and have to comment on the modification. What an awesome upgrade! Great purchase experience, communication and fast shipment. The manufacture (materials, welds) and engineering were so well done that my helper commented that it was better made than the original exhaust. The installation was pretty straightforward, exhaust fit perfectly and special tools were included to make things easier with those hard to reach bolts. Second EP purchase for me (had 997.1) and like this one even better. Changes from stock: noticed right away car seems to run smoother, much deeper tone on idle, crackles and turbo whistle on downshifts, and really roars as it's wound out. Has that exotic sound. No drone and cold starts a bit loud but not obnoxious. Overall, a dramatic improvement on the stock sound. Kudos to Stef and company at Europipe, another very happy customer.

As with musical instruments big tubes = low pitched tones and small tubes = high pitched tones.

Your muffler uses small interior tubes (smaller than OEM) + noise dampening material, hence the sound differences.
