That's not always the case. Helps with fuel delivery and cooling. Tuning is key.
It is the case. The meth is the fueling bandaid that the small high pressure pump needs to keep from crashing. It's also the octane supplementation and extra cooling needed to max out the factory turbos. Tuning is what makes the extra power. It's the "equivalent" of E85 for the .2 crowd.
Yes it is. Like I wrote, the tune can be much more aggressive w/ timing running meth. The power is there.

Exactly. I would say it's more like running race gas for these cars versus e85. Still impressive no doubt, but I'm a 93 guy.
I think you gents are missing my point or perhaps I might be missing it. Yes Meth is definitely par of the go fast equation but the point I am trying to make is that if car is not tuned for it, it will not take advantage of it. My example is I ran meth prior to tuning my car for it. Car ran very well but Meth ALONE was not the answer, it helped my IATS and that was it, the real magic began after I was properly tuned. I dont want to derail the OP's thread with Meth or not. So I will leave it at that. By the way I am also a 93 Oct. guy.
