997TT Seat Heaters Not Working...Suggestions?

The lights go on...but nothing happens.

Anyone have any suggestions? Neither seat works...so i'm inclined to think there is a connection issue vs failure...

Yes. There are reported cases where battery issues cause the PCM to turn off the option and normally the 2 go hand in hand.

Any battery issues or car work done prior to them not working?

Have you checked the fuses?

Did they work one day and not the next?

Any event out of the ordinary between when they worked and when they didn't

I had to replace the battery on the car once. but truthfully...i've had the car for nearly 2 years and the seat heaters never worked. I have checked the fuses. It seems to be an odd situation.

The next time you have the car at the dealership, have them use their PIWIS and check the option for seat heaters and make sure it is enabled. If you have Durametric Pro you may be able to see the option, but I am not sure of this.

In the meantime, although unlikely when both seats do not work, you can check the wiring under the seat to make sure nothing is disconnected or pinched. Relays are also under the seat, but since both don't work I am not sure either wiring or relays would be the issue.
