Installed Clima Repair Black Swithes - Great Product

Although my 997.1 Turbo has only 13k miles it was a Florida car and the heat seemed to have melted the soft rubber on the two climate control switches

This leads to a really nasty looking mess with white plastic parts peeking through the black where the black rubs off on your fingers

I saw some services offering to "rebuild" my unit if I shipped it to them on Ebay

I was lucky to run across this great company

http://www.climarepair.com/porsche-replacement-switches-for-climate-unit-v-3/

They sold replacement switches that look like brand new - making my interior look so much better and it was super easy to install myself - took my less than an hour all in

Only hard part was I had to go to Home Depot to buy the tiny T6 driver to take apart the climate repair unit

Two thumbs up on this company and this great modification

They are virtually identical to OEM only a bit harder and lacking the soft rubber feel that will wear off - they function like stock and the light comes through the writing as stock

These do not look anything close to OEM.

I must have got a good batch - mine look and fit just like stock only don't have the rubberized coating

Really a nice upgrade to my otherwise mint interior which had these two unsightly switches

Worked great for me

Maybe you should take some photos.

I keep hearing about this issue - my car is a 2007 and it has 33,000 miles - I haven't had this issue yet on any buttons, thank goodness!

My car had the switches painted black already. They are nice but it bugs me that they don't have the temp and fan logos. So I decided to give these a try. I didn't see the option for the StickeyNoMore until after I ordered these. I had ordered the Clima pieces on May 30th. They shipped on June 4th. I received them today, June 11th.

I am not expecting OE quality but had hope they would be better than the ones in the link earlier in this thread. WIth them in my hands now, I do not think they look bad at all. If you hold them next to one another you can see one is slightly more matte than the other. I don't know if the cell phone pics will show that. I think they are a good replacement piece. I will see what the OE switch arm feel like to say if these feel as sturdy. But I don't think these are frail or have any reason to believe these will not work. I will update once I get them installed.

Here are some pics. These are close up pics so you guys can see them well. If I held them at arms length I don't know if you could really say anything bad about them.

Like I stated it is a quality part and will make your worn out old tired switches new again and your interior look fresh

Flatty is an unknown quantity at this point
I also bought their first generation switches long time ago. They were better than the worn buttons but nothing close to what they sell nowadays. After a year or so I bought their "Gen 3 replacement buttons", they look awesome. Nice product and great customer service (I got a discount on the second purchase for being a former customer).
