Semi solid mounts... diesel noise??
 

So... I have semisolid motor mounts. I swear my engine sounds like a small VW diesel while sitting in the car.

It's not bothersome... just wondering if everyone has the same cabin noise or if something is off.

I moved a few things around. It's still there. I don't think the poly transmission mounts help either.

I think it's just normal clatter at idle... after I increase the revs a tiny bit, it's gone. As they say ... marbles in a can.

I found the trans inserts added way more engine and gearbox noise than the engine mounts. Definitely makes a bit more diesel like.

Prodigy also told me that tranny mounts are the noisy ones, not the motor mounts
