What are the worthwhile power 997 gt2 bolt ons ?

hey guys, I am very familiar with the 997tt platform as far as FBO and e85 level of mods. I haven’t been able to find much info on gt2 FBO. Who here has modded a gt2?

I am looking at 600-700whp max, the car is so much fun in stock form I think anything over that will distract from its balance. I don’t think the car even needs e85 as it’s so much lighter that a 997tt. Cat bypass pipes are done already.

Gt2 Turbos look like they are as good or better than 63.5 vtgs so no upgrade needed. Intake system looks good, looks like the 82mm Gt3 TB upgrade won’t work here. Exhaust is Akra stock... quiet but I don’t know if any aftermarket exhaust will actually give better power.

Car already has gt2rs ICs... I have a set of evoms clubsport ICs, worth the swap ? Also was thinking do88 intake pipes.

I have ave a set of GMG headers, worth the swap over stock ? It’s hard to improve this thing it seems ...

superslow is an unknown quantity at this point
The headers won't do much other than change the sounds and maybe make a minor improvement in spool.

You might just get a good tune and call it good. My car makes a bit over 600 whp with boltons (997tt) and it is extremely fun to drive.

GT2 intake manifold is different that 997tt? That's what Engineering Explained channel implied

Yep they are. Looks like I’ll just do Intercoolers, inlets tune and call it a day. This should be in 560-580whp range with a very mild tune

I think you mean crank hp not wheel hp. My car has similar mods (93 octane UMW tune, 997.2 intercoolers, do88 intake pipes) and it is running about 600hp to the crank. A 91 octane tune would be a bit less. 560-580 wheel hp is 700 or so at the crank.

With GT2 turbos then yes. I understood your post to mean stock turbos, conservative tune, ic’s and intake pipes.
