Please help ! I need the ignition coil part number/ source for 2012 997.2tt
 

I have a 2012 997.2tt 3.8 turbo . I have been looking online for hours for the correct updated ignition coil version for my car and no one source matches the other. Every online store has a different part numbers. One say fits while another says does not fit. Most of them showing old version. So frustrating.
Also any recommendation on spark plugs and spark plugs gaps. I'm running GIAC 580HP tune.
Also is there a parts wholesaler or distributor in Los Angeles or close by. I was hoping to tackle this project this week.

and this is what years and models they say they fit. 2010 and 2012 are excluded but 2011 is included. Ha?

If you've got a 3.8 you need the 9A1 part, so 9A1 602 104 03 according to the parts catalog on Porsche's website.

Sunset shows this part number as being superseded by an ..07 part, although I suspect it's actually the same part in itself. This is the part Pelican list, so the newest part number based on what I can tell.

GIACs recommendation is stock plugs if I remember rightly. Others recommend Denso PK20PR-P8.

Thank you. I ordered the parts but i only found spark plugs FR6NPP332 instead of FR6DPP332. are they the same ?

Also it seems that all coils for 997.2tt are now updated to the xxxxxx07 part number. So if order a 06 or which ever you wil get a 07 as of now .

Unsure if the plugs are the same, highly doubt it. Surprised you couldn't find them, did you search via Porsche part number?

The one you linked on pelican parts are the N plugs, and ecs does not show the Bosch number. so i'm guessing the D plugs are superseded too N plugs. Or Am I missing something ?

D and N are the thread length. N is longer than D so maybe that the 3.6 to 3.8 difference ... does that make sense ? where did you see the D specified for 997.2tt 3.8 engines.

Err I didn't - as per the parts catalogue that I attached above, N is for the 3.8, D for the 3.6.

Suggest going to Porsche's website and downloading the catalogue :)
