I am looking to replace my rear tires (305/30ZR -19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport XL) on my 08 997 Turbo (coupe, standard brakes). Looks like Michelin doesn't make the 30ZR size anymore. The fronts are 235/35ZR -19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport XL and were replaced last year due to damaged tire. What are my options? Thanks.

Tire manufacturers are always coming out with new tires... They sell the old ones for people looking to buy replacements (and generally jack up the prices for the un-educated), and sometimes they sell the new ones badged as the old ones because people don't know their extremely large confusing catalogs well...

In your case, the modern version of the Pilot Super Sport (XL is the load rating, not part of the tire name) is the Pilot Sport 4S. Nearly identical tire, a little more advanced compound, little less weight.
