BURNING QUESTION ... Help?
After the options on the Turbo they will be EQUAL in price
This ... (White/Black 997TT) July http://photofrog.inkfrog.com/pix/dferdows/997TT.jpg or This (White/Black Gallardo SE) Available NOW http://www.lambocars.com/hr/gal/gallse32.jpg |
White SE...that is some serious ****e! I love it!
|
Lambo all the waay unless this is a daily driver. BTW, you are adding 30K of options or more? What options are you getting?
|
Im not really a fan of the new TT (yet) but then again I've never truly liked any lambo. Although the G is the best lookin car in the lambo stable. Tough beans friend. I'd prolly go for the G, since it's available now, and then switch out to a TT later.....at least two years into the TT production.

G all the way...what options are you getting on the TT to drive the price up so much?
|
Do the background chicks come with the G? That might influence the decision.

Lighten up on the turbo options, big boy!! :p
Really tough question, but I think it comes down to what do you want? On the one hand, a really nice daily driver that will appear to be similar to every other P-car on the road or something that will call attention to you everywhere you go. How comfortable are you going to be parking that G-car at the mall? |
the G's that I've looked at have been between 201-215........... you must have spec'd every option (and some twice) to get anywhere near that price.
the one issue that has kept me from the G is that I'm not sure how long until the novelty would wear off. I'm not into the additional attention and hassle that the G will bring. The leasing company that I work with told me that 6 out of the 10 they leased were sold within 6 months --- at a big loss. If those issues wouldn't bother you, then I would go for the G.... you can always get into a second or third year 997TT |

I got ...
OVER $10K in carbon fiber Porsche Ceramics Limited Locking Differential Nav, Phone, Handset, Painted Rear, Painted Rockers, and more ... When I spec'd out a 997S with my options it came to $185,000 (US CONFIG) so I'm assuming the TT along with tax & title will be over $200K???? Then again maybe some of the things I picked on the C4S come standard on the TT?? I found this ... http://www.catsexotics.com/inventory-detail.php?key=42 |
lets say...
painted rockers(XAJ) - $2k painted seats - $2k PCCB -$9k full carbon- $12k LSD- $3k sports chrono- $1500 phone/hand set -$2k nav- standard total options and tax= $32k MSRP- $123,000 $123,000 + $32k (options) = $155,000 x 5% Tax (average) = $162,000 Give or take.... I guess you could get a Low Mileage 05 Gallardo.... |
I believe Roy sold his SE, but i could be wrong. Your TT will not end up being 200k, it will be closer to 155k.

I don't ever believe in getting the first year run of ANY car. Go for the SE Dario.
