Hey all. I recently got a 997 turbo tip. While driving around town in traffic, I noticed this whirring noise only when in 1500-2000 RPMs.
I already bought the car but never noticed this until now because during my test drive, I drove it pretty lively.
The noise is there in neutral as well but very quiet. More pronounced in 2nd and 3rd gears.

A week before I bought it, the previous owner had taken the car for its yearly service and inspection from a reputable Porsche shop in town but didn't find this specific issue.
There was an issue with the strut mounts found during the inspection, but the seller was open about that.
He sent me the documents from said inspection so I'm not sure if this is normal or the shop just didn't notice it?
