So the dealer where I bought the latest car had the sirius thingy in stock so I told him to install it before delivering the car to me.

Got a call yesterday saying that it was possible to install, but programming was no longer possible. Does this make ANY sense to anyone? Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

 

Strange. I just renewed my Sirius subscription for 1 year.

 

All you need is the unit number, call sirus and you're set.

 

That's not true at all.. Just call Sirius and it'll happen.

 

I will confirm that. I just had a freind sign up through Best Buy with a standalone unit. The merger is not done yet. Congress has to approve it.
