Any way to get into tt from 07targa4s

I bought a targa 4S-now have 1800 miles-realized I want either the Turbo again or GT3. Any knowledge how I can get out of this Targa (paid for) and a great car. My local dealer can get me a GT3 at sticker but I will take a real beating on the targa 4s. If anyone outthere wants out of their turbo and into a Targa 4s please PM me or maybe their is a dealer who would like to do a decent deal on a trade. Maybe I'll have to take the gas pipe from my local dealer.

Figure out what the tax difference would be with a trade in and what it would be without trade plus the tax on the TT or GT3.

I don't know how it is in other states but buying from a private individual and registering it in Georgia you don't have to pay sales tax on the car at registration or ever. Of course we have Ad Valourem every year on the cars.

As above, there's no easy way out. Just trade it and get it over with.

Sorry, but I think there is no way around grabbing the ankles if you really want out.

doc-with all due respect-what sensible person would want to trade his turbo for a targa 4s? i had a 997c4s, which i traded for my 997tt-i only had the car for about 10 months-i got absolutely hosed-the car had an msrp of 102-i got 78 at trade in, an believe me, i really shopped that car hard before i traded it in. the only thing that half saved me is that the dealer originally sold me the car for 90k, so i wound up losing 12k over 10 months, and i paid full list for my 997tt. i would think that a targa 4s is not a great car to trade in-i know that the 996 targa really tanked. if you want the turbo, i think this one is going to be painful. i paid my 12k, and i never looked back. once you feel the incredible push when the boost pressure builds as you floor the accelerator, you will be happy that you spent the money.

targa for turbo

Of course no sensible person would trade a tt for a targa. I have seen so many dealers etc. shop their cars here, I thought maybe there is one who had a customer for a targa and I would at least only be moderately hosed rather then drowned. My car is terrific, just should have bought the turbo or GT3 from the start. Nothing lost in putting the request out-I know I look a little foolish.

If they're giving you GT3 at sticker, trade it. Doing the deal somewhere else may involve heavy mark-up.

As a salve for your imminent **** rape, be assured that the 997tt is a brilliant and entertaining daily ride.
