Could be a number of things, I doubt VW has as much drive to get fast ring time as porsche does. Walter Rhorl helps too.

You can hardly call the rear seats functional in the TT, I think it is more for tax purposes in certain countries.

Yeah I know but I just had to mention it considering the two cars being compared. But IMO the GT500 is not a sports car and many mustang drivers would agree.

true as true can be. It's a muscle car. 2+2 coupe. I consider a porsche a 2 seater because no full grown person can fit in the back. I can cruise with 4 people (under 5'11' for rear seat) in my car without discomfort.

Best thing about the v8 stangs is the exhaust note. Ever since 1985 they have had the best domestic stock pipes.

Shelby GT500 FLY-BY WOT with stainless works long tube headers, 3" catted x pipe and 3" catback, jlt cai, metco 2.6" pulley, Jon Lund tune, ccw 19's, coil overs + more...and yes, I attempted to do a burnout with t/c on...the sun made the t/c button look like it was lit up.
