Got Fabspeed Headers on and I don't notice any improvements

I got the FS hearders installed yesterday and I must say that I can't notice any difference.

I had GIAC flash, FS Intake, and Tubi Exhaust prior to the headers. I kept reading from other about how boost comes on much sooner but I don't see that at all. I don't even notice any power difference.

Do you think there is something wrong?

Did you dyno the car? Best would be to have pre and post headers dyno pulls. This way there is no bullsh_ting. I presume you have a turbo. Not all headers make hp. Does Fabspeed make a claim of hp increase? I just had FVD headers put on my 997 GT3 and the gains are real and dyno proven. Will FS take them back???? Sorry to hear this and I wish you luck with the matter. Maybe the car needs a little time to adjust?

Headers on this car might make 5-7hp. It is unlikely you will ever feel that difference since it is such a low %. Also, it may take the ECU a couple of hundred miles to adjust to the headers

That's what I read also in European Car in a recent 997tt project. Headers make very little hp and will only make any appreciable difference when combined with bigger turbochargers.

Yep, have also heard that headers are not exactly the best bang for your buck.

Here's what the guys at Europipe responded when I asked the questions about header replacement along with their exhaust:
We have build and tested headers for the 997 Turbo but we couldn't measure consistent performance gains on the dyno.
Couldn't feel any gains while driving the car either. ( that was with the sport muffler already fitted )
I'm sure it will be great for big hp engines , we won't offer them though.

same thing here I got EVO headers and send it to Saudi Arabia to be installed. My brother has been driving the car and he didn't notice and difference. He tried the car side by side with stock TT and the gain wasn't that big.

Boost does not seem to come any earlier than pre headers. The headers were really not worth it IMO. All other mods seemed to be worth the buck spent. The FS dual tips however make my car look pretty cool so I consider this a mod money well spent, but man I can't get past the headers. I wonder why they're even sold if there is no gain.
