**NEW** Cargraphic 997 Turbo Race Exhaust

The people have asked, Cargraphic and Rennsport One have heard the call and answered! Introducing the new Cargraphic Race Exhaust System for the 997 Turbo. Designed in conjunction with Road Sport Supply (RSS) and manufactured by Cargraphic Germany, and born from our desire to bring the best true cat-less, race inspired street exhaust to the market, the Cargraphic Race system features 3 inch stainless steel cat-bypass pipes with Cargraphic's patented hi-flow super-sound dual muffler design (with merging gas). This system was designed with several key goals in mind; fit/finish, perfect wide-open throttle harmony, no cabin droning or resonance, and price. We've achieved each of our goals and exceeded our expectations with the finished product.

Below are several pictures of the system components, as well as installation pictures of the finished product. (Make sure to check out all the pics and scroll all the way down for the best part. )

Here is the passenger side outlet. The system was designed to re-use stock tips, but can also accommodate any aftermarket tip solution.

Each component is stamped for authenticity to insure you're getting the best system on the market!

Here's the passenger side muffler and cat-bypass pipe in all their glory.

Here is a picture of the system being installed on our EVT750 997Turbo build being completed at the shop right now.

As you can see from the next two pictures, fit and finish of the system are just absolutely top-notch. Installation was a breeze, and each of the components fit perfectly with very minimal adjustment needed.

Our initial impressions are just out of this world! At idle, the system provides a light rumble letting you know that something good is going on. At wide open throttle the system simply sounds like no other 997 Turbo system I have ever heard. At highway cruising speeds, and especially at that crucial 2000-3000 rpm range, there was no cabin drone whatsoever! (and the subject car happens to be a cabriolet!) I was able to hold a phone conversation without a problem. We will be making a few sound clips to post tomorrow so stay tuned for more.

Another added benefit of this system is a significant weight savings over the stock exhaust. The system weighs in at 39 pounds, shaving nearly 30 pounds of weight from the rear of the car.

And now for the nitty gritty. This incredible system is available at a special introductory price of $3595 SHIPPED to any address in the United States. International customers please contact for shipping rates. The system also includes a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.

Feel free to ask any questions or contact me directly for ordering information!

Happy Motoring!

How does the the Cargraphic RACE system compare to the Tubi RACE system as far as sound and performance? Also, I noticed the mufflers are 2 individual mufflers vs. 1 large muffler like others have done. Any advantages or disadvantages to each design? Lastly, do you have tips or do you recommend stock tips?

Zzinger,

Because the CG Race system uses 3 inch cat bypass sections, sound is distinctly different from the Tubi. It's much deeper and throaty, yet still unmistakably Porsche. We'll have some videos up soon. The dual muffler design makes adjusting fitment a little easier and also allows the use of CG's super sound mufflers. Remember, one of our main goals was cost, so this also helped keep it down. As for tips, we are using TechArt tips on this particular car, but any aftermarket or stock tip will also work.

Thumbs up

Looking good Team Rennsport-One, I'm glad we were able to assist you making this system come to fruition - I think the 997 Turbo owners out there are really going to love it. Great work as usual.

Thank Bryan!

And thanks guys for all the PM's and inquiries. I just wanted to clarify a couple of things that have been asked so far by calls and PM's.

Do you manufacture this exhaust in-house?

-No. Since we are a dealer and work very closely with RSS, the exclusive US distributor of Cargraphic products, we recognized the need for a cat-less system in our market. Because of strict emissions regulations in several states, a Cargraphic system like this was never brought to the US market. So we pushed RSS to make it happen. With a lot of input from us, the system was tweaked ever so slightly to meet the desires of our North American customer base and now here it is. It is still 100% an authentic Cargraphic system, manufactured by Cargraphic.

Has this system been seen or used by anyone else in the world?

-It's possible. Cargraphic did manufacture this system in Europe, however there are very strict sound and emissions regulations in most countries across the pond, so systems with cats are typically more popular in
mainland Europe.

Hopefully I've been able to answer most questions, but as always, please feel free to contact me directly if I've missed anything. We're very excited about this product and have had excellent feedback from a few local visitors so far!! And yes....video clips are coming. Thanks so much for the patience.

-Tom
