The PSE button opens a flap in the airbox that gives the affect of a louder sound when you press the button. Unless this version on your 997.2 works like a valvetronic where it bypasses the 2nd mufflers in the sides of the bumper. Its been a minute since I have seen a OEM one. Either way this exhaust is 1 sound only.
