gt3 front without wing

I plan to install a gt3 front bumper and no wing. I know some ppl have done this, does it mess up the aerodynamics bad? any of you track your cars like this?

I have seen it and IMO it looks lop sided . Have you looked at the Techart wings : they have three . Type 2 looks a bit over the top for me . Type 1 is very understated but very nice and can even out the appearance . Type 3 is actually my favorite as it's not as ostentatious as the Type 2 but a little more than Type 1 .

Keep in mind that the Gt3 isn't just a 997S with a vent but also a different spoiler and the rear wing.

The Techart can even out some of this and still retain an understated look if you opt for type 1 .

I like the look of just the front as i am not a fan of wings. I would love to hear from someone who has done this as to whether it has made the rear feel light?

i think few people just have the gt3 front with techart sides. to me looks fine.
aerodynamics, hmmm i wonder at what speed it matters. for daily and few track event would the difference be that much? I don't know. would like to know.

i would do this mod if i had money def.

i definitely think it looks great, the gt3 bumper would complement my black wheels and exhaust tips nicely i'm just really worried that it will make my car dangerous at high speeds and i would like to track it every once in a while. By the way hows ur car doing raja

I have the GT3 front and have been contemplating wing or no wing. The car feels no different than stock (except the angle of entry for driveways ). I'll likely add the stock 997TT spoiler or RUF spoiler.

I have the RUF front bumper with no wing. No noticeable difference at the speeds that I drive, but the coilovers could be contributing to that added stability.

gt3 front without wing

We always re enforce our bumper in our race car. You don't want to pick up your body parts in the track. We've been there and seen other cars.
