Wow, I havent seen many 997s at the track yet, I didnt expect them to be that quick. That is a lot better than the 13.3-4s I was seeing out of a majority of the stock 996s at the track.

Great run & driver.

it's all thanks to his sy - speed yellow.
i guess there is some truth to the name after all. lol if i ran at the track, i think i would get in the 17s. hahhaha |
Latest Road and Track has a 997S running 0-60 in 4.1 and the QM in 12.6 @111.9 mph.

That's quick, I ran my dads 997S Vert against my GTO and he pulled on me, but definately didn't feel like a 12.4 car...but then again he drives like a ***** :D

This isn't my car guys, I just found this on Youtube. You can hear the car has a OEM exhaust, so I assume it's a car with no mods. Road and Track actually ran a 12.4 @ 114.8 mph so the ET is about right just the trapspeed is a little down from the R&T run. Either way great times.. Dave |

Dave In the latest issue they also tested the 997S against a GT3RS which did 0-60 in 3.9 and the QM in 12.1 @ 116.6 mph which has 60 more hp and weighs only 80lbs less than a 997S. |
