Lightbulb Fading Brake Calipers...HELP!!!

Hi,

I have a 2005 C2 and the brake calipers have faded to a milky white surface appearance. They are far off the original factory black. Anyone experience the same thing and repaint them? I showed the dealer to see if Porsche would replace them under factory warranty but they consider it purely cosmetic and will not replace or repaint them.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Jon

you can kind of see the caliper in this pic. I use a recommended wheel cleaner but the calipers were like this when I bought the car from the previous owner.

Def looks like previous owner used something a wee bit too harsh. Repaint 'em and they will be good as new.

It happens to the black brakes alot. I think it is because they arent painted or powdercoated. And porsche does not cover that. Get them powdercoated yellow or red, i did mine in yellow...looks sick
