Rocker Panels Painted

Can someone show me a picture of one with and one without? Is this available on the 997S or just the 4 and Targa.

Thanks,

Only wide bodied cars have that option: C4/S, TT, RS. Pics are on the Porsche website.

Here are pictures of 3 similar White Turbos (the skirt panels are the same as the C4/C4S, since they are wide bodies).

1st pic shows the front lip, the side panel, and the lower rear skirt unpainted.

2nd pic shows the shows only the side panel painted white.

3rd pic shows the front lip, the side panel, and the lower rear skirt painted white.

IMHO, if you have the rocker panels and plan on painting them.. paint the lip spoiler too so it looks even from the side view

Paint everything else if you like, but I would not recommend painting the front lip. Use the disposable GT3 lip on the front spoiler if you have the aero kit. Otherwise you will have to baby it every time you pull in the driveway.

I'm looking to do the same. Can you advise on the process for painting? Did you tell the bodyshop how to prep or did they know exactly what to do? I've gone to a couple of bodyshops and they say paint won't stay on?

I wanted to do this on my 997.1 my cars silver with the gt front and the lips black i think the rockers would look great in black the gt2 have them in black looks perfect. Maybe a plasti paint on the rockers or even a viynal strip would work maybe
