Don't Need No Stinkin DFI, LED or PDK!!!!

The hell with all that stuff...Porsche thinks just because they made just about every change I could have hoped for that I'm gonna run down and order an 09...HAAAAA :mad::mad:. My 07 with just 9800+ miles is mint and fast enough and most people won't be able to tell the difference anyway...so F/U Porsche!!!!

God I'm getting weaker by the minute and when I see the first black/black 09 C4S I think I'm gonna be writting the check :o:(;).

hahah! +1, 500, I agree. I still want to see how it does on a straight against the v8 M3 and c63 amg first, though ;)

LOL -that was funny .
I wonder how this will play out . The trump card in the speculation game for me will be the engine placed in the Turbo . If it's the 3.8 wet sump instead of a dry sump engine then my guess is that the 997 model line will be very near its redesign . Buy a facelift and you get double whacked .

I did that . I bought a 2000 996 . Then I bought a 2002 facelift 996 . Then I promised myself that I would not but the 997 right away and two days after the launch I was calling every local dealership and bought a launch car .

Then the sad part . The theives loved my launch car as much as i did and stole my lights as they had done with my 02 996 too . I was so sad that i leased a BMW and sold the Porsche .

18 months of healing and i was back in a 997S . A few mods later I was scratching my head saying why not a Turbo . Then I traded in the car and bought my current car .

I love Porsche . I love all these cars I can freely admit it .

Once these cars hit the dealership, I can already feel myself giving in. IF I were to order a new one, things will be different:

-aerokit
-adaptive sports seats
-NEW PCM in leather
-Center console in leather
-Porsche crest on console lid
-deviated stitching
-ventilated seats
-tv tuner
-PASM sport with LSD
-black gauges
-red seat belts

Everything else stays the same as my current: black/black, nav, porsche crest in headrests, manual :)

I'm trying to fight this off, but as you can see, I've been seriously considering here...

it will never end, there will always be a faster car. I love the ride that I have, and I will learn how to drive this car to 9/10.

Agree with Ed. Our cars are too fast for our skill levels to handle.

Ed, looks like Monday Track day will be a wet day again. I will need to learn wet tracking from you.

wet days aren't bad, as long as it is warm enough to get some heat in the tires.
