Want to Buy Fabspeed Muffler Bypass
Interested in a set of Fabspeed muffler bypass pipes in good shape for my '07 997S. Did a search and found some folks interested in selling, but I can't PM them because I'm new to this forum. Please PM or email me on alex.brat@rogers.com
Couple of questions; any noticeable loss/softening of bottom end or midrange power and, if so, at what rpm range? Any noticeable top end gains and at what rpm? Were they used as a stand alone mod or with intake, chip, etc.? I plan to use them as a standalone with maybe only a K&N on the intake side (don't want to mess up warranty, etc.). Thoughts? Worth it from a power gain/weight loss perspective, for the occasional track day?
What about sound? Are they too loud for the street and/or daily driving? My 5 year old is occasionally in the back for up to 30-40 minutes; would it be too loud for a kid that age? I wouldn't be pushing it of course with him in the car, but I'm worried about drone, etc. at cruising speeds bothering him. If they are too loud, I guess I could remove them after track days, etc., but it would be a hassle.
I have a PayPal account and could pay immediately if there's a deal to be made. I would require inexpensive shipping (UPS ground? no rush...) to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and the customs paperwork would need to reflect that they are used parts of nominal value, so I don't get raped for duties/taxes up here.
Thanks in advance.

Interested, but can't PM you cause I'm new and I don't have 15 posts yet, which is the minimum required before I can PM anyone on this forum. Please email me on alex.brat@rogers.com and I'll reply via email. Thanks.
I think they are too loud for small children riding in the back seat. I don't have any kids, but if I did, I wouldn't subject them to kind of possible hearing damage...
I drive mine daily and for me it sounds like how every 911 should....
