Guess there is a lot more equipment than it seemed from the post. The lesson to be learned is that if you buy a lot of unique stuff, don't expect to recoup your investment. Personally I love seeing someone who gets the car they like. This Silver on Black trend is so boring.

I am sorry that you are having diff. selling. I thought about up grading. Mine is also 06 C2S bought 1 yr ago and it has almost 12000miles. I think I'll keep it and when the extended warrantee wears out. I'll SC it and get a new car.

Times are tough in the car business. People are thinking twice on luxury cars. No more Mortgage lenders are buying Porsches.

agreed, and a very good point. look, everything has taken a hit in this economy. with the price of oil where it is, with the dollar where it is, and with everyone's business being hurt because of the price of oil, a lot of people who would have bought used porsches are just not in the market. if you are a buyer, the news is spectacular. if you are a seller, the news is bad. if you are buying some new car, you should be getting a good deal on that new car-take the 60k trade-in and save the tax, if your state allows it. i recently traded in a vette on a porsche-even though i did so so on the trade, i was able to save about $10,000 off of the price of a new carrera s because of market conditions-you should do similar with whatever you buy, unless you are getting into a tough market, like a ferrari.

Unfortunately, no tax savings on trading in California

Anytime you have a non basic color (basic color as in white/silver/grey/black), it always take longer to sell. As far as this one goes, I think it looks great. While blue interior is not common but I think this one looks great especially with the carbon fiber pieces.

Ebay always attract a lot of bottom dwellers but it also draws a lot of traffic too. Have you try autotraders.com or cars.com? Also, while I agree with what many have said above, bad economy & 2009s coming out. Keep in mind the weak dollar is also attracting a lot of overseas buyer as well. Just be careful with the ones from Nigeria of course

Good Luck!

It's not selling because:
a) It has MILES !!!! Once a Porsche crosses 10K miles it takes its first depreciation hit and after 20 it's in the upper 50's .
b) it's priced close enough to an 08 discount that the buyer who could meet your price would buy a new one .

I read a few of your posts .... to see if the car has any positive or negative history . This way my opinion has some insight on your specific car.
a) rattle ?
b) starting probs ?
These resolved?

You bought the car only a few months ago . So it's a rather new car and the next buyer would be a third owner .

The 107 price and options attracted you and one other but the 67 ask won't close the deal .

Conclusion -- Keep the car !! You drove it too far to make it worth the time to haggle with the time wasters and low ballers and you don't want to give it away UNLESS you have to .

The price - Crack 60 and you'll sell quickly and with haggle maybe 61.5 tops .

Good luck with the sale .
+1

I really like the color, but I understand that the sea blue interior isn't for everyone. If I was buying now I would either get one of those large discounts on a new model, or wait a few months for the DFI & facelift.
