cd changer location in a c4s
Hi guys, just starting my dension install, anyone know where the cd changer is located (mine has none installed)? I am pretty sure it is placed in the cubby on the left(as you look into the trunk)
thanks, i don't want to start tearing things apart until i know

Can you check out this photo? What the heck is the function of this black box?
Would the factory changer take the place of this box?

On the AWD 997 cars, the changer goes in the trunk itself, thus taking up valuable space. It is put on the left side as you're looking into the trunk from the front. I don't have the changer (thankfully, as I need the space more than a changer), but the connector for it is in a recess in the floor right in that left back corner of the bottom of the trunk.

if your looking for the CD changer power plug, it should be in a bundle next to your amp you may have to look behind the fabric fender cover.

With the C2 you have additional room for a shaving kit.

cool thanks for all the info guys. the hardware install was very very simple. now i just need to get the song text and all that programmed. (and nicely mount and dress the installation and ipod)
btw, after doing this once i think i could repeat the wiring part of this exercise in 15 minutes. So if any other C4s owners have a question, i am happy to help...
