Question Springs for my '06 C4s

Trying to find a set of lowering springs for my '06 C4S, Eibach was my first choice but they don't make anything for all-wheel drive 997's. Anyone have a recommendation for a spring set to fit my 997? Looking to lower the car 1"-1.25" inches. Thanks in advance.

The only two companies that make springs for the 997 are Eibach and H&R. All others are repackaged springs made by either one or the other. Check with one of the many sponsors of this forum for products.

Just sold my Cargraphics (H&Rs) 2 days ago for $200. You should be able to find some used if you are patient.

Thanks, but the problem is my car is a "4S". I'm not finding a spring set for a "4S", only for C2 997's. Anyone out there with a 4S that has/had a lowering kit for their 997 C4S, who's the manufacturer and where did you find it!

I believe the springs are the same for the 2 and the 4. I have a set of used H&R's and I am local to you if you are interested (I am in Sherman Oaks).

I installed TechArt springs on my 2006 C4S (PN 997.200.200.009) and they were excellent. They will lower the car about 25MM which I am told is about the maximum you should consider. Lowering the car beyond 25MM risks a catastrophic PASM failure which they've seen on a couple of cars and negates warranty repair. Issues with curbs and driveway scraping are tolerable at this ride height. Good luck.

The H&R Sport Springs would lower your C4S 1.2" in the front and 1.2" in the rear so this falls nicely into your 1-1.25" range. The part # is 54097.

I know with the H&R springs, the part numbers are different so I wouldn't recommend putting C4S springs on a Turbo.

Thanks everyone for the info, sounds like I have a few choices. I have a CEC in my area and they carry the TechArt product line. I'll have them look at the car and recommend the proper spring set. Gracias.
