997 C2S CAB on cobble stone..

Hi guys, Although I've had my 08 997 since february, I am new to 6speed online. i was originally from orange county in socal but then reloacted to baltimore maryland. The city is great and all but one thing that really sucks is the road conditions, my car is lower with the bilstien p229 and it is set low to snugly fit my techart 20" formula wheels. Having said and for those who know the area, I live in Fells point and old city that have cobble stone street, I can't go any faster than 3mph without rattling and shaking up the whole car and for that, it worries me that it will mess up my suspension and causes interior rattling. Ended up buying a third car just so I dont have to drive my baby on cobble stone.

I mean this is a 100K car and I assume it can with stand the abuse. Any thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Cuz he was from OC and the roads are nice there.
I know what you are talking about. I would get a 3rd car as well.
It would definately mess it up over continous driving over cobblestone (I would think).

any pix of ur car?

suggestions:

Swap out for some 19" wheels
Slightly lower the tire pressure on your 20's.
Get KWv3 suspension, it overall rides much better than Bilsteins on bumps.

These things will help, but even bone stock your pcar will never be completely smooth on those streets. Not what the car was designed for.
